There were so many outstanding narrator performances this month. Here are some details:
CHARLIE ALBERS (UNDER HER SKIN) – Charlie’s portrayal of MC Natasha was emotionally intense and a really accurate reflection of the character’d emotional arc, & you’ll be fully invested in her outcome right through to the end!
MIA HUTCHINSON-SHAW (THE BOOK WITCH)- Hutchinson-Shaw brings each literary world vividly to life. By the end, her calmer, more assured tone reflects MC Rainy’s growth, with a perfectly delivered open ending that leaves listeners in awe!
BRITTANY PRESSLEY (THE GIRLS IN THE DARK)- Pressley’s performance mirrors MC Megan’s emotional growth as she faces what she’s been avoiding. The final chapters are especially well done, leaving listeners both speechless and satisfied!
GAIL SHALAN & PATRICK ZELLER (THIS DAMSEL IS NOT IN DISTRESS) – Gail Shalan nails Niamh’s mix of sharp wit, stubbornness, and vulnerability.
Patrick Zeller gives Wolf the grumpy intensity. Both narrators narrate the banter with perfect timing, humor, & chemistry!
NATALIE NAUDUS (JAPANESE GOTHIC) – Naudus gives MC Lee an edge of instability and unreliability, while Sen’s voice is sharper and more controlled, reflecting her discipline in the 1870s timeline. As their trust grows, her performance softens their dynamic, making their bond feel natural and compelling.
