There were several outstanding performances this month and choosing only three this month wasn’t easy!
Coming out on top was André Santana for his creepy, dramatic, and brilliant portrayal of the super-paranoid and troubled protagonist in Bury Your Gays. I can’t tell you how many different emotions I felt while listening to this audiobook. Santana delivered his best performance yet for this audiobook, and it’s one that should be recognized come award season!
Secondly, acclaimed narrator Michael Crouch delivered an incredibly haunting and authentic performance in I Was A Teenage Slasher. Crouch fully embodies the character and keeps listeners mesmerized and in constant suspense. This is an audiobook you won’t soon forget!
Lastly, Jonathan McClain’s portrayal of several characters in I Will Ruin You was engrossing, dramatic, and thrilling from start to finish. McClain’s distinctive voices and expressions for all the characters were also very entertaining and convincing!
