Top 3 July Narrator Performances

This month there were many great narrator performances. There were a few standout performances, and choosing only three this month wasn’t easy!

Coming out on top was Brittany Pressley for her outstandingly dramatic portrayal of a girl suffering delusional episodes and mental health problems. Pressley exudes so much emotional energy in this one that you can’t stop listening. You’ll be thoroughly impressed with her performance even if the storyline isn’t for you. Pressley bought her A game for this audiobook, and it’s one that should stand out in award season!

Secondly, acclaimed narrator Hillary Huber delivered a wildly entertaining and thrilling performance in The Lovely Lie. This dual timeline, multiple POV storyline jumps around a lot but Huber’s expert pacing and delivery makes it easy to follow and very enjoyable! Huber brings all the delicious characters to life and the drama and suspense constantly flowing from beginning to end.

Thirdly, actress and singer Patti Murin brought her immense talent to Katherine Centre’s newest romcom. Murin’s performance is high-spirited, emotional, engaging and a lot of fun! She brings all the characters to life and paces the story perfectly. Murin’s audiobook performance is most definitely a step above your typical romcoms audiobooks and is a must listen for everyone who enjoys this genre!

Other notable narrator performances this month that were considered for a top spot came from:
⭐️Vivienne Leheny in Long Time Gone by Charlie Donlea
⭐️Jessica Clarke in Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth
