This was another fantastic month for audiobook listening. Audiobook Fanatic was able to listen to and review 16 audiobooks, and the majority of them all were excellent listens with 4 stars or above!
Rounding out the top three are:
- The House In The Cerulean Sea—this 2029 international bestseller has been on my list forever. What better time than to post a review during the week that Audiobook Fanatic is spotlighting the acclaimed narrator, Daniel Henning!? Also, the sequel is set to drop in September, so Audiobook Fanatic decided this was a great time for a listen! Overall, this was a fully entertaining, magical, whimsical, and memorable story with wonderful characters! Audiobook Fanatic highly recommends this one!!
- The Book Of Doors—this debut novel from Gareth Brown had it all—fantasy, suspense, a bit of romance, a fascinating storyline, and great characters. This book definitely doesn’t come across as a debut novel, as it’s quite complex and the characters are very well developed.
- Beautyland—this is one of the most unique and thought-provoking books that Audiobook Fanatic has reviewed in a while! Who doesn’t love an alien disguised as a human coming-of-age story? You’ll be sure to fall in love with Adina, her journey through the human experience, and the heartfelt relationships she shares with her mother and closest friends. A story of love, loss, and belonging that many can relate to!
