There were so many outstanding narrator performances this month. Here are some details:
IMOGEN CHURCH (LOVE’S A WITCH) – Imogen Church’s delivers an incredible variety of voices to all the characters. From Sloane’s high-spirited sisters to her sagacious grandmother to the eclectic coven women to shopkeepers in the town, Church makes every single line of the dialogue a fully immersive and cinematic experience that makes listeners feel like they’re right there with the characters!.
ELIZABETH WILEY (TOO OLD FOR THIS) – Wiley gives each character a distinct voice, individualized pacing, and a unique emotional range to make the story come alive. Wiley’s commitment to Lottie’s character portrayal is unwavering from start to finish—and Wiley makes her oddly relatable and intoxicating!
IMOGEN CHURCH (LOVE’S A WITCH) – MEGAN TUSING (DO NOT DISTURB) – From the very first chapter, Tusing showcases her impressive acting skills as she narrates all the mishaps and challenges Quinn faces while attempting to flee! What’s most impressive about Tusing’s performance are all the distinct, entertaining character voices she provides.
MARK SANDERLIN (THR SHERLOCK SOCIETY HURRICANE HEIST)- Sanderlin brings each of the vibrant characters of the Sherlock Society to life with distinct voices and dynamic pacing. Sandlerin’s performance of Grandpa Pete is a real highlight of the audiobook—he uses a warm, intelligent, slightly gravelly voice to authentically convey the retired journalist.
