ABOUT THE NARRATOR

Candace Fitzgerald (aka Helena Walters) is an award-nominated actor and voice artist recording from her home studio at the Jersey Shore. A former music therapist and high school chorus teacher, she brings her musicianship and empathy-driven storytelling to every performance, creating a unique rhythm and emotional depth in her narration. She studied theatre at the prestigious Circle in the Square Theatre School and is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association.

Over her long career in the arts, Candace has found her true home in audiobooks, narrating everything from heart-pounding horror to heartwarming romcoms for top publishers including Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Hachette, Blackstone, Podium, Brilliance, Tantor, Dreamscape, Audio Sorceress, and High Gravity Productions. Her voice can also be heard in commercials, video games, and animation. When not in the booth, she’s likely spending time with her family, savoring a good beer, or walking her beloved Australian Shepherd—though not all at once.
