ABOUT THE NARRATOR

Charlie Albers is a multi-award-winning actor and AudioFile Best Voice Honoree—an Earphones Award winner, Gold Award winner w3 (AIVA), SOVAS Award winner, & 6 times SOVAS and ONE Voice nominee—who has recorded upwards of 180 audiobooks from her coastal home studio near New York. Her voice can be heard across best-selling audiobooks, animation, commercials, documentary, in show narration, self-help & meditation apps, award winning video games, and audio dramas.

Charlie is a trained chef, has a BSc (Hons) in Food Science, Consumer Psychology, and Behaviour, a minor in Broadcast Journalism, gained from studies in the UK and Europe. Her science background, culinary arts training and acting training (Bristol Old Vic, Theatre Royal Bath, Royal Academy Ballet) allows her to authentically capture the flavourand rhythm of each script she narrates, where her analytical brain meets her creativity to make magic.

As a mother to 3 school / college aged children and 2 sweet dogs, Charlie is used to juggling a veritable feast of balls. And thanks to English, Welsh, & Scottish heritage and years living across Europe and the USA, she has honed a broad range of accents and dialects. Charlie revels in narrating light & dark audiobooks across a wide ocean of genres. She narrates her darker titles as Allie Rose.
