ABOUT THE NARRATOR

Ferdelle Capistrano is an award-winning audiobook narrator, actor, voice-over artist, and singer-songwriter who was born and raised in Toronto before moving to California in 2016. A performer since childhood, her background in music, singing, and recording studios has been a natural foundation for her narration. She holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto with a major in Book and Media Studies and a minor in history and Eastern psychology/Buddhism, knowing that an innate understanding of the mind and self would benefit a performance career.

A Second City Toronto and Meisner Alumni. Her work has earned an Audie Award (beating out Meryl Streep in the Middle Grade category) and multiple Earphones Awards and has made it to several “Best-Of” lists. 

With over 100 books narrated under both her legal names and her pseudonym, Adelaide Fernport, she also writes and directs, throws pottery, and is training to be a helicopter pilot.
