One of the industry’s most sought-after narrators, January LaVoy has voiced more than 600 audiobooks. In 2026, she was inducted into both the Audio Publishers Association Hall of Fame and Audible Narrator Hall of Fame and won a Gracie Award for Good Dirt by Charmaine Wilkerson. A ten-time Audie Award winner and Publishers Weekly Narrator of the Year, she is also an AudioFile Golden Voice and Grammy nominee. LaVoy has narrated works by James Patterson, Nora Roberts, John Grisham, Jesmyn Ward, Jason Reynolds, and Maya Angelou. Her voice has also been featured by The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and ProPublica. She is married to author and narrator Will Damron.
