ABOUT THE NARRATOR

Although I’ve voiced almost 500 audiobooks, every time I sit down to tell an author’s story, I have to pinch myself because I can’t believe I get to tell stories for a living, play these characters and genre skip from Middle Grade to YA Fantasy to Sweet Rom Coms to delicate-cry-in-your-oatmeal coming of age stories. I started narrating in a closet with egg crates on the wall from the local farmer’s market (I guess I ate a LOT of eggs) and after each job, would buy a piece of equipment building up a fabulous home studio. I had been a touring stand up comedian and was looking to sit still for a little while and… here I am, happily lost in magical worlds and beautiful sadness. Occasionally I get to rhyme or sing or do non-fiction, but I feel most alive disappearing into fiction.
