ABOUT THE NARRATOR

Patricia is an Earphones and Odyssey Award winning narrator who has narrated 400+ books, including titles by Frieda McFadden, Brad Meltzer, Josh Malerman, Christopher Golden, and T. Kingfisher to name a few. She has a BA in English and is a professionally trained actor who has performed on stages across the country and in NYC. She has narrated for Harper, Hachette, Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Scholastic, Dreamscape, Podium, Audible, Tantor, Brilliance Audio, Audio Sorceress and more.

Her narration style has been described as “warm-but-tart” by Paste Magazine, “lush” by Booklist, and “skillful” by Library Journal, whose starred review of her work headlined “Patricia Santomasso Maximizes Terror.” Patricia’s favorite stories to tell are the spooky ones.

She lives in Connecticut with her husband and fellow narrator Sean Patrick Hopkins, and their daughter. They run a Banned Book Storytime for kids at their local coffee shop, raising funds for the ALA’s fight against book bans. Patricia loves baking gluten-free desserts, watching cat videos with her daughter, and brainstorming her next Halloween costume.
