ABOUT THE NARRATOR

Shelley Reece is an audiobook narrator and SAG-AFTRA member. With a darkly warm, expressive tone and a versatile range for accents, she gravitates towards fantasy, mystery/thriller, literary fiction, and romance books. She (and her pseudonym, Jillian Sage) loves to play villains as well as snarky best friends, but her favorite type of character is badass, vulnerable women who are survivors and risk takers. This might be because she herself is quite familiar with risk, having moved into this creative field after many years at a relatively predictable job in academia. She has a background as a stage actor, English language teacher, and singer songwriter, and when she’s not in the booth, she is a dialect coach for international actors. A definite fantasy nerd, she’s the girl at the gym who’s working out listening to an audiobook.
