ABOUT THE NARRATOR

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. In fact, 8th generation New Orleanian, 10th generation Louisianan. Sophie moved back to Nola 2 years ago after 11 years in NYC (first getting her MFA in acting from Columbia University and then building her voice acting and audiobook career.) She won the 2022 Audie for Best Non-Fiction for The Joy of Sweat by Sarah Everts (Penguin Random House). Sophie has narrated over 250 titles, and for such authors as Judy Blume, Chuck Palahniuk, Peter Swanson, George A. Romero, James Patterson, and Lorrie Moore. She was the 2022 SOVAS Winner for Best Short Story Anthology for Hotel California by Don Bruns, produced by Blackstone (full cast), and is a multiple AudioFile Magazine Earphones Award-winner. Her voice has been featured in commercials for Turner Sports, AirWick, Olay, ExxonMobil, and Microsoft.
